SRAGEN  - To insure the fluency of the revenue of regional original income in Sragen regency, which is derived from Street Lighting Tax; Sragen local government and PT.PLN (Persero) of Service and Network Area Surakarta performed a collaboration treaty about taxation and depositing of the Street Lighting Tax and Payment of Electric Bill. The treaty was held in Sragen Regent Room (26/09).

        The agreement aimed at insuring the Regional Original Income in Sragen regency and the fluency of electric bill on the Public Street Lighting payment. Besides, to control and discipline the illegal  Public Street Light.

       The Public Street Lighting is a public facility such as a street lighting, park lighting, traffic lighting and others. It has two kinds of Public Street Lighting that its existence is performed by the agreement between the related government and PT.PLN. Meanwhile, the illegal one is its installing performed without the agreement between the related government and PT PLN.

       The  Manager of PT PLN (Persero) APJ Surakarta, Drs. Puguh Dwi Atmanto ST said the existence of the illegal Public Street Lighting must be disciplined because it inflict the country’s financial loss. Therefore,  he hopes there is no the increasing of the illegal Public Street Lighting anymore. Thus, the illegal Public Street Lighting  should be amputated and lifted out without causing fluctuation as the society approval. Yet, when it causes the fluctuation then changed by an energy economical lamp.

       Furthermore, Drs. Puguh gave an another alternative to prevent the growth of the illegal Public Street Lighting is by  performing development of Public Street Lighting  with solar cell. Yet, to create this alternative; Sragen local government must invest the Public  Street Lighting with solar cell. The price of one unit is millions rupiah.

       To control the increasing of illegal Public Street Lighting, the Regent appealed to install the new Public Street Lighting and known by head of  related sub districts and districts.  (dyn, translated by dyah__humas)
